A handful of ingredients come together to create this delicious side dish. My favorite way to serve this is as an appetizer simply with some toasted bread. Of course, you can keep it low-carb by serving it with some veggie slices.
Recently this feta and tomato combination went viral on Tik Tok. I’ve never seen the viral video but I’ve been told that the tomatoes and feta get mashed up and combined with pasta. So, that’s an option too. This can easily be tossed with some pasta or even over some chicken.
The options are endless. Let me know how you will serve this in the comments section.

- 1 pound feta cheese
- 2 cups grape or cherry tomatoes
- 1/4-1/3 cup olive oil
- 1-2 tablespoons capers
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- a pinch of salt for the tomatoes
- ground black pepper to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, or more
Preheat the oven to 400 °F, 200 °C.
Place the feta cheese in the center of a 9 or 10-inch round baking pan.
Arrange the tomatoes around the feta cheese and season them with salt and pepper.
Drizzle the olive oil over the tomatoes and feta cheese.
Add teh capers and season with crushed red pepper flakes and oregano.
Bake on the center rack of the preheated oven for about 20 minutes.
Turn the broiler element on high and transfer the baking tray to the top rack. Broil until the feta turns golden brown on top and the tomatoes are wrinkled. About 3 minutes. Keep a close eye on it so that it does not burn.
Serve with toasted bread, sliced veggies, or pasta.
