This is how I get a crowd-pleasing meal on the table in under 20 minutes!

These easy and delicious burger wraps are everything you love about a classic cheeseburger wrapped up in a tortilla! Pressed ground beef is seasoned, cooked until golden, topped with cheese, and finished with your favorite toppings and a zesty burger sauce. Great for meal prep and freezer-friendly, too!
I saw these burger wraps online and had to create my own version. You can jazz these up however you like because there’s no real recipe. However, they’re like a cross between a smash burger and a McDonald’s Big Mac wrapped in a tortilla. They’re so easy, the kids are going to love them, and you’ll love them for how easy they are to freeze for even quicker weeknight meals.
Why are burger wraps so good?
Crisp, toasted tortilla
Juicy, beefy burger
Ooey, gooey, stringy cheese
Crisp lettuce,
Sweet, fresh tomato
Tangy onions
Spicy, zesty sauce!

What do I need for the wraps?
Tortillas -8 8-inch round ones seem to be a good size, but you could make these as minis with smaller ones.
Ground beef -I used 85% lean because I like how juicy it is, but use your favorite.
Salt & freshly cracked black pepper –a simple seasoning to highlight the flavor of the beef.
Cheese Slices -use your favorite melty cheese. Muenster is smooth and mild, cheddar gives a sharp bite, and American is classic and creamy.
Shredded lettuce -I used iceberg lettuce and made sure to use my salad spinner so the lettuce was as dry as possible. You can use your favorite burger lettuce, though!
Sliced onions -I slice yellow or red onion thin, but marinated onions would be delicious, too.
Sliced tomatoes -small tomatoes work best so the slices fit into the folded tortilla wrap.
What’s in the sauce?
Mayonnaise -homemade or your favorite brand.
Ketchup -my family has a favorite brand, just like yours. Use what you have.
Mustard -I like to use Dijon mustard because it’s a little spicy.
Sriracha sauce -adds a smoky, tangy chili flavor that pushes the sauce over the top.

How do I make the sauce?
Whisk together the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and sriracha in a small bowl. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Refrigerate until ready to use.
How do I assemble the wraps?
Divide the ground beef into 10 equal portions. Press each portion flat onto one side of a tortilla, covering most of the surface. Season generously with salt and freshly cracked black pepper.
How do I cook the wrap?
Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Place the tortilla into the skillet, beef side down, and cook for 3–4 minutes until the meat is browned and cooked through.
When do I add the cheese?
Flip the wrap over so the tortilla side is in contact with the pan. Immediately add a slice of cheese on top of the beef. Cover the skillet with a lid and cook for 1–2 minutes, just until the cheese is melted.
How do I serve these burger wraps?
Remove from the skillet and top with shredded lettuce, sliced onions, tomatoes, and optional avocado. Drizzle or spread some of the sauce on top. Fold it like a taco or roll it up like a wrap and serve warm.
Can I freeze these for meal prep?
Assemble the wraps by pressing the raw beef onto the tortillas, stacking them between parchment paper, and freezing them in a zip-top bag. Cook straight from frozen—just add a few extra minutes to the cooking time.
What are some other topping ideas?
Get creative! Try sliced avocado, pickles, jalapeños, or even caramelized onions for a gourmet twist.
What’s the best way to serve burger wraps?
Serve with oven fries, sweet potato wedges, or a fresh green salad for a complete meal.
