I can’t help but share this delicious balsamic chicken and asparagus sheet pan meal. Sheet pan meals are so easy and perfect for busy weeknights. This one has juicy, balsamic chicken with asparagus and creamy feta cheese. The dressing for the chicken is super simple and creates a beautiful dark glaze. The asparagus becomes tender in the sauce, and the feta gets warm and creamy. You’ll love throwing this together and having a delicious dinner within just an hour.

Less than 10 ingredients
- Chicken thighs -or quarters with bone-in and skin on
- Asparagus -trimmed
- Onion – sliced
- Feta cheese –sheep’s milk feta is the best
The Dressing:
- Olive oil -If you’re looking for a good quality one, you need the one in our shop!
- Balsamic vinegar -or try our balsamic dressing
- Honey -Greek honey is the best
- Garlic cloves -grated
- Dried thyme -sub oregano or rosemary
Vegetable substitutes
- Brussel sprouts
- Broccoli
- Cauliflower
- String beans
How to make Balsamic Chicken and Asparagus Sheet Pan Meal
- Preheat the oven to 425 °F
- Whisk all the marinade ingredients together and set aside.
- Place the chicken in a large bowl and season with salt and black pepper.
- Pour the dressing on top and toss to coat.
- Transfer the chicken and the marinade onto a sheet pan.
- Add the onion slices.
- Bake on the center rack for 25-30 minutes.
- Add the asparagus to the pan and season it with a little bit of olive oil, salt and pepper.
- Top with crumbled feta if desired and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes or until tender.

Serving
Once your chicken is done, let the tray rest for about ten minutes to allow the juices to settle in the chicken. The marinade will thicken as it sits, so you can spoon a bit over the chicken after you plate it. If you want to soak up those juices, serve it over my orzo pasta, cauliflower rice, or Mediterranean rice pilaf. You could also serve it with a good piece of crusty bread, so you don’t miss a drop. Balsamic Chicken & Asparagus Sheet Pan Meal
Flavorful Balsamic chicken baked with asparagus and ready in under an hour!
Ingredients
- 6 chicken thighs or quarters, bone-in and skin on
- 1 pound aspragus
- 1 onion, sliced
- feta cheese
The Dressing:
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1-2 tablespoons honey
- 4 garlic cloves, grated
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme or oregano
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425 °F
- whisk all of the marinade ingredients together and set aside.
- Place the chicken in a large bowl adn season with salt and black pepper. Pour the dressing on top and toss to coat.
- Transfer the chicken and all of the marinade into a sheet pan. Add the onion slices.
- Bake on the center rack for 25-30 minutes.
- Add the asparagus to the pan and season it with a little bit of olive oil, salt and pepper.
- Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes or until tender.
