I’ve posted a lot of vegan dinner ideas for Lent lately, so I want to make sure you have this list of my 9 favorite vegan desserts for you to try, too. From fudgy to crunchy to soft, pillowy crumbs, there are some great options to round out those meals or sneak in between as a snack. Plus, they’re all so good that no one will even notice they’re vegan.

A lot of Greek recipes are naturally plant-based or easily adaptable to a vegan diet. In fact, many traditional dishes are already vegan or can be made vegan by simply omitting the meat or cheese. This really comes in handy during Lent, and if you were nervous about not having dessert, I’ve got you covered. Not only do I have the best tahini brownies, but I have a couple of cakes up my sleeve as well. My tahini cake with coconut and chocolate chunks is light and just perfectly sweet, but if you love warm cinnamon and clove spices, try my fig and walnut cake or Greek fanouropita.
If you love to dunk your cookies in coffee as much as I do, start in the morning with crunchy Vegan Chocolate & Pistachio Biscotti, known as Greek Paximadia, or Orange & Almond Olive Oil Biscotti. You will never regret it. Although, a soft, chewy Greek grape molasses moustokouloura cookie is delicious in the morning, too. As for the guests and kids at gatherings, the ones that are always a hit are my vegan koulourakia and Greek olive oil tahini cookies. Have the coffee and milk ready!
