Store-bought Shortcut
I’m sure that nothing beats homemade tortellini. However, when you’re trying to get dinner on the table in less than 30 minutes, store-bought pasta saves the day! Costo sells a delicious 3 cheese tortellini that only needs 2 minutes of boiling and it’s ready. You can’t go wrong with that.
Use your favorite brand and just drop it into the sauce. Follow the package instructions when it comes to boiling it and try not to overcook it as it will go straight into the hot sauce and cook a bit longer.

The flavor is great and we really like this dish. However you should add the water into the cheese sauce mixture before adding the tortellini. Our pasta turned out super overdone. I also added chicken stock instead of water as the recipe called for.
