Most Greek food is vegetarian friendly. This is another great example of a very satisfying, healthy vegetarian dish. Sure you can add leftover roasted chicken or shrimp if you have some, but trust me, it's SO deliciously flavorful as is that you don't need to!
I'm not a real big coffee fan. I love my tea though.... That 15 minutes of peace and quiet. Just me, my tea and a nice pastry is like therapy. I LOVE it and look forward to it everyday!! This cake goes perfect with tea and I originally wanted to call it "Blueberry Tea Cake", but I then thought about all of the confusion that would cause: "is it cake made with blueberry tea?, what is tea cake?...."
Melitzanes papoutsakia translates to eggplant slippers in Greek. If you like Moussaka, you will LOVE this dish. It's really elegant to serve to guests. I love how they look. Each person gets their own individual, beautifully stuffed eggplant :)
This salad doesn't have chopped lettuce inside it. I like to use the lettuce leaves to hold the salad in them. It looks really pretty, plus if you're making it for a larger group, you can make individual servings for each of your guests.
This is a truly decadent dessert and it's gluten free!!!. Good quality chocolate is a must when preparing this. My favorite is Belgian chocolate. I love Callebaut. If you can't find it where you live and you must use supermarket chocolate, then go with Ghiradelli.
Hi, I'm Dimitra and welcome to my blog! Here, I'll teach you just how much fun and easy it is to please a crowd with my versions of Greek classics. Kali Orexi as we say in Greek!
